Outreach
I strongly believe in outreach programs to explain and communicate research projects and research questions to the public. We have the opportunity to educate the public about future challenges and how our work aims to solve local and global challenges.
Science festival (Imperial College London)
Within a group of researchers from the Center of Plastic Electronics (Department of Physics), we explained important energy concepts to the audience by preparing a demonstrator that included solution-processed solar cells that are connected to a device (a fan that rotates when shining light on the solar cell). To operate the device also when no sun is shining, we prepared a polymer battery that is charged when with access to solar energy, released when the sun is blocked by clouds.
